I think I was 15 or 16 at the time & I sneaked into this show, I was pretty proud of myself too. I am now pushing 40 & would rather sneak into an all ages show, I say “sneak” because when I go to a punk show nowadays kids either assume I am a pedophile or a 21 Jump Street type cop. I can hardly blame them though, I look like a lame ass dad in a punk t-shirt, but anyway this was a good show. I met an old drunk guy (I assume he was the age I am now) that told me he wanted to kill Area 51 & anyone else that wanted to take him on, then he pulled out a little Swiss Army Knife & screamed into my face “I kill ‘em”. That was my sign that it was time to go, I walked down Highland & found a pay phone & asked my dad to pick me up. Looking back, I am not sure if my parents were cool as fuck or just extremely irresponsible.
